Previous game history: When Lily first arrived on the Elegante, she was confused, to say the least. Having grown up in the Deep Underground, she had never seen the sun, and she had certainly never seen such a wide variety of people. Still, she was excitable and impressionable, and despite being tossed into such a different environment than what she was used to, she adapted well. Sure, it was strange how nobody ordered her around, and it was even stranger that she was significantly less strong and fast than she was supposed to be... but that was all just fine.

Lily latched on to a woman named Integra (Hellsing), who she decided was her new mother figure. When Integra was killed, Lily went after her killer and slaughtered him. Of course, this was met with a punishment, something that further dampened her abilities. That was also just fine. She did a bad thing, so she got punished. That's just the way things are, right?

Life went on. After Integra's disappearance, Lily attached herself to a man named Even, someone that, despite his gruff exterior, started to treat her like a daughter. Though their relationship was a little odd, an assassin taking an abomination of science under his wing, they were both perfectly content. Their bond became familial, and Lily could never imagine a life without him. He gave her a birthday, March 13th.

Then, there was First Mate Kage. Even and Kage had an interesting (if not rocky) relationship. Clearly, this meant Lily had to befriend Kage as well. Kage became yet another father figure. There was also Erol (Jak and Daxter), who was Lily's third father figure. Then there was Chase (Runaways), Kage's pseudo adoptive son, who became Lily's big brother (even when Chase disappeared and came back with no memories, Lily took him in as her brother). Lily was taken in by a German woman called Mimmi who was gentle and loving to her. That's when Lily learned that mothers aren't supposed to pit her against her siblings in combat. At some point, Lily's canon brother, Heine, arrived on the Elegante! They became very close, despite the different points in time they came from.

Finally, there was B. B was new crew on the Elegante. Lily found a locked door, leading into Spectacular Spectacular, the theater. She wanted to go in, so she called the new mechanic, who opened the door for her. She went in and promptly got herself killed by a falling stage light. Even was not pleased and decided to carve out B's eyes. Even was punished, Lily and B were traumatized, it was a huge mess. Still, Lily and B became best friends.

One day, out of the blue, Even disappears. Lily doesn't take it well at all, and has a massive freakout where Kage has to come in and calm her down. Several months later, Kage, B, and Chase (the second one) disappear all at once. She doesn't take that well, either. Thankfully, between Even's disappearance and Kage's disappearance, she met Oogway, a kung-fu master that happened to be a turtle. Oogway calmed her down to the point where she didn't look like she wanted to kill everyone, then gave her a bowl of soup.

Between then and The End, things were smooth sailing for Lily. She was quiet and well-behaved. She spent most of her time with Oogway, learning how to meditate. The End happened, Lily jumped ship and swam to shore, and that's that.

Miscellaneous events (these are actually in order, according to Lily's journal!):

1. Lily finds a deck full of flowers! Finally, she sees real, actual, honest-to-god flowers!
2. Lily volunteers to test out B's language machine. She now speaks Afrikaans fluently! As a side effect of B's machine, she became incredibly precocious and learned to speak and read Russian! She was back to her normal self in a few days, and now speaks no Russian whatsoever!
3. Lily slaughtered lots of things in various plot events!
4. Santa left her some presents on her very first Christmas Day!
5. When Xamira killed Heine, her brother, she went out looking for blood and ended up dying! That was her second death following the stage light incident!
6. The doorknob fell off her bedroom door and she was defeated by it! She was trapped!
7. Wade Wilson (Deadpool) attempted to kidnap her to wring information from Kage, but Lily beat the shit out of him!
8. Lily frees a woman that ends up killing a bunch of people. Thankfully, she and a group of other passengers find the woman (Shayn), and Lily kills her! Good!
9. Lily had a skeleton cat named Cat Thing!
10. Lily organized the first ever Elegante Sardines!
11. One time, when she was aged up and Phoenix (Jak and Daxter) was aged down, they made out!
12. Another time, Phoenix was affected by an event, and he and Lily fought! Lily broke her arm!
13. The End!
Character Changes: Let me preface this by saying that this Lily and the Lily I initially apped to Elegante six years ago are different in terms of canon. There's six more years of content here than what I originally had, and some things that I didn't even know. Many of these things are minor technicalities and filled plotholes. Her personality has been tweaked, she's a little older, et cetera. The worst thing is that her eyes are apparently fucking red. I guess we can all just gloss over it? Don't even mention it.

Lily comes from a dystopian unspecified European city (highly implied to be somewhere in Germany) in a war-torn world. It's mentioned that the climate has become so bad there are no longer discernable seasons. The city is divided into two sections, the Surface and the Underground. The Surface is (surprise) the city on the surface. Here there is fresh air, weather (usually cloudy, raining, or snowing), and plant life. The Underground is beneath the Surface of the city, and the two are connected by train. The Underground is generally reserved for the poor or unfortunate, whereas the Surface is nicer in terms of cleanliness and social order.

Crime and violence in the city (especially in the Underground) are so common that a guy can whip out a gun in the middle of a crowd and nobody will look twice. Sections of the city are divvied up among various mafia-esque families and crime syndicates (few of which are relevant to the overall plot—they're just kind of there to give you a feel of how shitty this place is). Gang wars, kidnapping, and murder are common. The legal system is crooked, but at its best, it's harsh and unforgiving—but that does little to deter criminals.

Something just as common as violence is genetic manipulation. The most popular form is splicing humans with animals, giving them various desirable traits (such as horns, tails, and cat ears). Many of them live normal lives, but they are very susceptible to being kidnapped and sold, or born into prostitution for their special qualities.

The most extreme form of genetic manipulation takes place in the Deep Underground, a place most people aren't sure even exists (but most certainly does). The Deep Underground is a system of laboratories beneath the Underground of ambiguous origin (it's unclear whether they act independently or as a part of the government) devoted to genetic experiments. Most All characters in the series are tied to the Deep Underground in some way.

Lily, as well as the main character Heine, and one of the main antagonists, Giovanni, were subjects of the Rammsteiner Project. The Rammsteiner Project existed with the intent to create "super soldiers" based on the Cerberus spine, an artificial spinal cord that can be surgically implanted to give the subject super strength, speed, and regenerative abilities. It was led by Dr. Angelika Einsturzen, the head scientist, and "Mother" to the Rammsteiner children.

Lily was a test tube baby grown specifically for the Rammsteiner Project. They were clones of Einsturzen and the "Führer," the original Cerberus, who is the mayor of the city. Lily and her siblings were "awoken" when their bodies were the equivalent of ten years of age, young enough to adapt to their new, shiny spines, and "participated" in the experiment for four more years. Lily took to the spine better than most children and often outperformed her siblings in physical tasks. They were trained to use various weapons and forms of hand-to-hand combat (outlined in the abilities section).

The thing about Lily is that she is, despite her extraordinary abilities and aptitude for combat, defective. The Rammsteiner children wear collars around their necks to hold their spines in place, but they also act as "detonators" the professors can set off. When "detonated," the Rammsteiner children go berserk and kill whatever gets in their way. Some of the children have developed split personalities to help them cope with going berserk, but some of them are lucid, just unable to stop themselves from fighting. For the majority of the children, this only happens if it's triggered by the professors. The problem with Lily is that she has the potential to go berserk on her own if she gets scared enough.

Lily and several of her siblings decided it was high time to break out of their prison. They made a map and planned their escape, reasoning that one of the few rooms they weren't allowed to enter might lead to an exit. It didn't. It was just a big, empty room. In the meantime, Heine was meeting with Einsturzen to test if he could become the "leader" and connect with a special version of the Cerberus spine. He did, thus rendering his siblings obsolete. When the experiment was over and this "new model" was made, the Rammsteiner children became old models, and were ordered to kill each other with the promise that the last child would live and receive Angelika's love. Lily won, but was ultimately torn apart by Heine, who didn't show up to the battle until it was over.

... But Lily is taken from before this. She's taken from just as they walk into the empty room. After speaking to Heine and Giovanni on the Elegante, she now knows what she did, but she doesn't have the memories.

Lily isn't the sharpest crayon in the box. She never was. It's not because she doesn't have the capacity to be intelligent—she grew up in an environment that didn't require her to be, so she wasn't. Her education in the underground was minimal, but from growing up on the Elegante as well as the Golden Shore, she's learned to read and write at her grade level, and her math skills are... Well, they're good enough. She's very open to learning, though very scatterbrained. When interested she catches on fast, but when disinterested she's easily confused. Still, she tries her best. Lily speaks English as her mother tongue, but she's just as adept in Afrikaans, which she learned from B's language machine on the Elegante. She speaks a bit of Al-Hebb (with an atrocious accent) that she learned from Kage prior to his disappearance.

Lily has adjusted to living outside the Deep Underground. Fresh out of the DU, she would have been terrified of "normal" things like the weather, but now, she adores it. What she fears the most is things that threaten her new way of life (disrupting the peace, killing her new friends, fights, and other things of that nature). She tries to be friends with everyone (everyone), attempting to build up a family again. Lily lost a lot of the most important people in her life, and for a long time, she didn't know how to feel. She wants a big family (so she collects friends like dolls), but she's reluctant to let herself grow too close to someone. She's not as trusting as she used to be, so she holds her newer friends at arm's length. Still, Lily is quick to apologize and will do anything in her power to resolve an issue peacefully.

Lily is very friendly and extroverted for two reasons. First, it's just a part of her personality. She naturally likes people. Second, she's afraid of loneliness and being disliked. Lily strives to please everyone and hates to see disappointment. Stemming from this is an endless sea of self-loathing that surfaces when she feels stupid (which is pretty often these days). Lily tends to bottle up her emotions and subconsciously releases them in battle, but because she doesn't do as much fighting as she used to, those emotions stockpile. She takes things very hard on herself and tends to assume the worst, though she makes a great effort to look on the bright side.

In another vein, Lily is prone to bitter jealousy. Back in the underground, if Einsturzen favored another dog (what the Rammsteiner children were not-so-affectionately referred to as) over her, Lily would strive to surpass them and earn her "mother's" love, despite Lily's growing hatred for her. She had to be the best. She still has to be the best, though she's hoping to achieve that without violence. Lily hates violence and resents her life circumstances.

On the negative end of things, Lily is the most unstable of all the dogs. Once she's riled up, it's hard to calm her down. She has a split personality that handles all the fighting, but she's unable to communicate with it. This personality—Lily's personal "dog"—is wild and entirely untamed. It doesn't think. It only acts. She has to be immobilized until she calms down. It is possible for Lily to calm down on her own, but it's rare. From her time on the Elegante and training with Master Oogway, Lily has developed a good control over the dog, and she's even learned how to meditate!
Appearance: Adorable. Lily is about 5' tall (152cm) and weighs about 100lbs (43kg). Lily is a small, slight girl, with shoulder-length blonde hair and big, bright red eyes. She has very pale skin, considering she was indoors literally her entire life. Needless to say, she burns very easily in the sun. A long scar runs down the length of her spine from when it was replaced. A big bunch of scars are on the back of her neck, but they're mostly hidden by a thick metal collar that can't be removed (which I imagine is all steel, because I don't know what else it could possibly be). Following an incident on the Elegante where someone (I'm looking at you, Jennifer) dropped a stage light on her, Lily's shoulders are now also riddled with scars. She always (always, always, always, to bed and in the shower and out and about) wears a big gold ring that belonged one of her adoptive fathers on the Elegante, Even. It's so big that it only fits on her thumb.
Abilities: Lily is extremely (and I mean extremely) strong and fast due to the experiments performed on her. She displays incredible healing abilities that go as far as regenerating lost limbs and repairing organs. Too much damage to her spine will stunt her healing abilities, so things like ripping her in half or decapitating her will kill her, as well as extensive brain damage (for example, she can survive getting her head smashed against a wall, but getting shot in the brain a few times will kill her). She has gone through extensive training in combat and is familiar with many different kinds of weapons including guns, swords with an emphasis on katanas (no shit—I'm not sure why katanas are such a big deal in a European city), knives, and blunt instruments. Guns, particularly semi-automatic pistols and submachine guns, are her forte. As far as restrictions go, Lily will have the same general restrictions that she had on the Elegante—Everything is cut in half.
Items: Just the clothes on her back!
Preferred Quarters: Anywhere!
